We're seeking a Senior Hardware Systems Engineer to join our team and drive the development of safe, certified robotic systems for hazardous environments.

The role combines deep technical expertise in robotics and automation with a focus on safety standards and certification processes. You'll be working with cutting-edge technology, evaluating and modifying robotic systems to meet stringent safety requirements, and leading complex engineering projects that push the boundaries of what's possible in collaborative robotics.

As a Senior Hardware Systems Engineer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external certification authorities, leading the design and implementation of sophisticated robotic systems including 6-axis arms and autonomous mobile robots. Your work will directly impact the safety and efficiency of industrial operations across multiple sectors.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $165,000 - $215,000, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. We provide a flexible work environment with the option to work remotely within the US, though regular travel to our Santa Clara headquarters will be required. Requirements For Senior Hardware Systems Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, System Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
  • 6+ years of professional engineering experience in extreme environments
  • Experience with electromechanical systems design for safety standards
  • Proficiency in equipment testing and certification
  • Strong problem-solving and project leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • U.S. citizenship and Top Secret clearance eligibility
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
