As a Solutions Engineer, you'll play a crucial role beyond traditional pre-sales and implementation. You'll own technical relationships with strategic customers, design solutions using Column's APIs, and contribute to product development. The role demands strong technical skills, including coding abilities in JavaScript/Python and SQL proficiency. You'll work from the Presidio-based office, managing cross-functional projects spanning engineering, business, operations, finance, and compliance. Responsibilities For Solutions Engineer
- Own the complete technical relationship with strategic customers, spanning pre-sales, implementation, onboarding, and support
- Own the implementation, delivery, and roll out of strategic cross functional projects
- Identify operational bottlenecks + design and build internal tooling and processes
- Synthesize product feedback, identify gaps, write product requirement documents
- Perform day-to-day activities consistent with safe and sound business practices and regulatory requirements
- Identify, assess, and manage risk associated with activities by adhering to policies and procedures
Requirements For Solutions Engineer
- 5+ years of experience in a technical solution engineering role
- Strong customer-facing presence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- Humble attitude and willingness to work in the weeds
- Technical acumen to write code (JavaScript or Python) and query data using SQL
- Experience in financial services industry and/or strong knowledge of financial technology is a plus
