Responsibilities For Cloud Support Engineer

  • Provide technical support for cloud infrastructure, addressing and resolving customer issues in a timely manner
  • Monitor and maintain cloud systems to ensure optimal performance, uptime, and scalability
  • Collaborate with customers' development and operations teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues
  • Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud services and applications
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines
  • Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and implement proactive measures to prevent recurrence
  • Escalate issues to cloud service providers' support teams if needed
  • Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices
  • Maintain and implement monitoring systems and alarms
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support coverage as needed

Requirements For Cloud Support Engineer

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience as a Cloud Support Engineer or similar role
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) with 2+ years of hands-on experience
  • Experience with Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools
  • Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system administration in cloud environments
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
