Responsibilities For Cloud Support Engineer
- Provide technical support for cloud infrastructure, addressing and resolving customer issues in a timely manner
- Monitor and maintain cloud systems to ensure optimal performance, uptime, and scalability
- Collaborate with customers' development and operations teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud services and applications
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines
- Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and implement proactive measures to prevent recurrence
- Escalate issues to cloud service providers' support teams if needed
- Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices
- Maintain and implement monitoring systems and alarms
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support coverage as needed
Requirements For Cloud Support Engineer
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience as a Cloud Support Engineer or similar role
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) with 2+ years of hands-on experience
- Experience with Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system administration in cloud environments
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
