Responsibilities For Backend Engineer

  • Design and develop scalable and secure payment systems in a multi-tenant Cloud/SaaS environment
  • Design, implement and test in-store payment and payment device interactions
  • Work with Product Management to understand business needs and find technical solutions
  • Contribute to team roadmap definition
  • Ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met
  • Work with cross-team engineers for platform technical excellence
  • Participate in on-call rotation with worldwide distributed team

Requirements For Backend Engineer

  • 3+ years of experience as a Backend developer
  • Experience with Typescript or Javascript
  • Understanding of parallel and asynchronous programming
  • Experience in developing REST APIs and scalable architectures
  • Knowledge of MongoDB and API interaction tools
  • Fluent written and verbal English language skills
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Ability to work in hybrid environment
