Responsibilities For Associate R&D Test Engineer

  • Perform test operations and ensure adherence to procedures
  • Develop test plans and documentation
  • Design, analyze, review, procure and build test equipment
  • Collaborate with I&C engineers on data acquisition systems
  • Maintain documentation, schedule and budget
  • Develop test procedures for safe operations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues
  • Perform analyses and develop custom tools
  • Lead anomaly investigations
  • Execute plans for future expansion

Requirements For Associate R&D Test Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science field (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar, or applied physics degree preferred)
  • Entry-level experience as a test engineer on complex electromechanical systems
  • Experience with instrumentation and control components
  • Experience testing, troubleshooting, and debugging electronics hardware and test software
  • Familiarity with electromagnetic fundamentals
  • Excellent troubleshooting/problem-solving skills
  • Data reduction and analysis skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally
