Responsibilities For Electronics Engineer

  • Design high-power power convertor electronics for SPARC tokamak magnets and RF heating system
  • Collaborate with diagnostic engineers and stakeholders
  • Coordinate implementation, testing, installation and commissioning of custom I&C electronics
  • Manage suppliers of components and integrated subsystems
  • Produce engineering deliverables (circuit diagrams, schematics, PCB layout)
  • Maintain interfaces with other engineering subsystems
  • Report on progress to system engineers

Requirements For Electronics Engineer

  • Bachelor's Electrical Engineering
  • Direct experience in design and procurement of custom electronic assemblies
  • Experience generating electrical schematics and analyzing circuit performance
  • Proficiency integrating and troubleshooting analog and digital circuits
  • Proficiency with circuit simulation software (SPICE or equivalent)
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work in industrial environments with various hazards
