We're seeking an experienced EMC Compliance Engineer to join our SPARC team and lead the development and implementation of EMI and grounding strategies for our tokamak and plant systems.
As an EMC Compliance Engineer at CFS, you'll be tackling the intricate challenges of electromagnetic interference, compatibility, and grounding in a high-energy fusion environment. You'll lead the development of EMI/EMC and ESD control plans, contribute to SPARC grounding guidelines, conduct voltage assessments, and implement ground fault monitoring schemes. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the robustness, efficiency, and compliance of our systems with relevant standards.
The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience in EMCI/EMI, grounding, and electrical engineering for large-scale projects. You should have a strong background in PCB-level EMI design, familiarity with industry standards, and proficiency in EMI/EMC simulation tools. Your problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across teams will be essential in this fast-paced, dynamic environment.
