The position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $180,000 plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
You'll lead incident investigations, work with EHS Management System software, and support both production and R&D teams in hazard identification. Responsibilities For Senior Environmental, Health & Safety Engineer
- Lead incident investigations including root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Work with EHS Management System software for process workflows and reporting
- Support EHSS leadership in developing comprehensive strategy
- Support production and R&D teams in hazard identification
- Perform detailed safety reviews of complex hazardous operations
- Provide guidance on OSHA standards and safety codes
- Develop standards, programs, procedures, and training
- Monitor employee exposure to physical and chemical hazards
- Assess facilities, machinery, and safety equipment
- Develop and maintain safety contingency plans
Requirements For Senior Environmental, Health & Safety Engineer
- Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental, Safety & Health or related technical field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in a safety role in high-risk industry
- Working knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong facilitation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call
