Responsibilities For Senior Mechanical Engineer - HTS Magnet Feeder System

  • Act as primary owner of SPARC and ARC current feeder hardware
  • Produce and iterate on design concepts using physics and structural mechanics
  • Liaise with partner teams to drive completion of program milestones
  • Diagnose issues on production and assembly line
  • Prepare reports and documentation for SPARC and ARC FEED systems

Requirements For Senior Mechanical Engineer - HTS Magnet Feeder System

  • Minimum 5 years of engineering design and analysis experience
  • 2 years providing engineering support to production hardware
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, or relevant field
  • Experience with high power (MW+), high mass (ton+), high force (MN+) components
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills
