Responsibilities For Senior Process Engineer - Vacuum Systems

  • Support resource planning management for timely and budget-conscious completion
  • Coordinate SPARC vacuum system team for installation and commissioning
  • Work with tokamak operations and physics teams for commissioning and maintenance
  • Develop specifications and procedures for high and UHV systems
  • Address interface conflicts with other systems
  • Integrate instrumentation with the I&C team
  • Train and troubleshoot for vacuum process technicians and engineers

Requirements For Senior Process Engineer - Vacuum Systems

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or science field
  • 10+ years experience with vacuum pumping, measurement, and leak detection technologies
  • Experience with large research installation vacuum systems
  • In-depth knowledge of UHV and HV technologies
  • Experience in supervising multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience with 3D CAD models, P&IDs, and engineering schematics
  • Willingness to travel and work irregular hours
  • Ability to work in facilities with industrial hazards
