Conductor GmbH, a leading Website Optimization & Intelligence platform, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer On Prem (f/m/d) to join their Platform Engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, solving some of the hardest problems in MarTech and scaling very large data sets.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for deploying and optimizing applications in on-premise hosted environments, managing large distributed databases, and ensuring the quality and performance of a massive scale data processing SaaS environment. You'll work with ElasticSearch, build automations and dashboards, and collaborate across the Engineering organization to integrate and optimize systems.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or SRE, strong skills in Cloud Environments and managed hosting, and experience with Kubernetes and Terraform. You'll need excellent communication skills in English and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.

Responsibilities For Senior DevOps Engineer On Prem (f/m/d)
- Deploy, update, and optimize applications to on-premise hosted environments
- Optimize large distributed databases ingesting multiple terabytes of data per day
- Assess the health of systems and infrastructure to advocate for upgrades, maintenance, and changes
- Educate peers and development teams on best practices for developing and sustaining large data sets in ElasticSearch
- Ensure quality, availability, reliability, and performance of massive scale data processing SaaS environment
- Build automations, dashboards, and best-in-class observability for a large distributed system in varied hosting environments
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the Engineering organization to integrate and optimize legacy systems and acquisitions
- Assist the Information Security team on security initiatives, provide auditable workflows for change management, and monitor for security issues and incidents
Requirements For Senior DevOps Engineer On Prem (f/m/d)
- Completed studies in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of professional experience working in DevOps or SRE in Cloud Environments and required experience in managed hosting environments
- Have configured CI/CD for tooling and technologies including Kubernetes and Terraform
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in English
