ConnectOS is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team working on airline technology solutions, specifically focusing on UK Post-Flight Technologies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a Passenger Intelligence Platform that serves major travel providers, including partner Etihad Airways.
The position requires 2+ years of experience in airline technology, with a focus on loyalty CRM and ancillary management. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies including Python, NodeJS, SQL, Apache Airflow, and various cloud services to build and maintain ETL pipelines and manage data processing workflows.
As a Data Engineer, you'll be instrumental in developing the client's post-flight platform, working on data extraction and transformation processes. Your responsibilities will include managing AI data models, enabling downstream use cases for customer segmentation and personalization, and collaborating with ML engineers to optimize models based on business objectives.
The role offers an attractive monthly package ranging from P100,000 to P180,000, along with comprehensive benefits including medical and dental coverage from day one, paid leave, and career growth opportunities. The work schedule is Monday to Friday (04:00 PM -01:00 AM), with a full remote work arrangement.

Responsibilities For Data Engineer - Airline Technology (UK Post-Flight Technologies)
- Development of client's post-flight platform, particularly with data extraction, transformation and understanding
- Build ETL pipelines to manage loyalty and ancillary transactions
- Manage & optimize client's AI data models by monitoring customer usage
- Enable data to be used in downstream use cases like customer segmentation, personalization, and targeted marketing
- Work with ML engineers to optimize and re-train models based on insights, usage and business aims
Requirements For Data Engineer - Airline Technology (UK Post-Flight Technologies)
- 2+ years of experience working with airline technology, specifically loyalty CRM, ancillary management, and PSS components
- In-depth understanding of airline data management and processing, particularly for loyalty programs and ancillary services
- Strong foundation in data engineering principles
- Proficient in Python, NodeJS, SQL, and experienced with Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, Amazon Redshift, and Docker
- Expertise in building and maintaining ETL pipelines and managing NoSQL databases
