Responsibilities For Fire Services Engineer (AU Construction, Office-based)
- Designing Wet and Dry Fire Systems to Australian Standards
- Creating 2D and 3D designs using modeling software
- Performing hydraulic and design calculations
- Selecting equipment and materials per project and engineering standards
- Developing Method Statements, Inspection Testing Procedures, and Safety Work Statements
- Creating detailed project timelines and schedules
- Ensuring adequate labor, equipment, and materials to minimize downtime
- Conducting inspections to resolve design issues and monitor system performance
- Providing engineering and technical support during project execution
Requirements For Fire Services Engineer (AU Construction, Office-based)
- Industry experience, Diploma of Fire Systems Design, or a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Science
- Experience in designing fire protection systems and knowledge of relevant codes and regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Ability to interpret and analyze technical data and construction documents
- Australian fire protection industry experience is preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, efficiency, and dependability
