Software Developer (AU Retail, Office-based)

ConnectOS is seeking a Software Developer for their AU Retail team. This is an office-based, full-time position in the IT Development department.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience in ASP.NET (C#)/MVC/.NET Core 3.1 and above
• Experience with Web Service/Web API/Azure Service Fabric (REST/JSON/XML)
• Proficiency in Vue.js or other client-side frameworks (using TypeScript and NodeJS)
• Experience with Microsoft 365, including MS Dynamics 365 & Common Data Model/Services, Power Apps, and Power Automate
• Strong database development skills, including SQL
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud platform, Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD
• Proficiency with dev tools such as Visual Studio, VS Code, Postman, VSTS, browser dev tools, and PowerShell

Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative software solutions for various business areas including manufacturing, logistics, finance, and retail
• Provide technical expertise for internally developed applications and systems, including SharePoint
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements
• Prepare comprehensive installation instructions and development release details
• Lead by example and work with the technology team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions
• Create efficient, scalable middle-tier logic using ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core, XML, C#, Java, T-SQL, and other languages as needed
• Design and create databases, views, stored procedures, and user-defined functions in Microsoft SQL
• Participate in health and safety programs and identify workplace hazards
