Web Developer (UK E-Commerce, Home-based)

ConnectOS is seeking a mid-level Web Developer for a UK E-Commerce client based near Liverpool. This is a remote, home-based position working UK hours (mid-shift) from Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in Magento 2 Development (Adobe Commerce) and demonstrated experience in e-commerce development. Required tech stacks include PHP, Magento, Shopify (Back end), and Javascript and/or React/Angular. Experience with Zoho and Odoo is a plus.

As a mid-level web developer, you will work under a senior lead and be allocated daily tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and maintaining the current website, ensuring security updates and bug fixes
• Rebuilding the front-end of the Magento website using the Hyva Theme
• Developing a Mobile App connected to the Magento store for iOS and Android
• Building API connections to accounting solutions and other internal systems
• Creating new modules/features to increase conversion rates
• Building microsites and landing pages to assist in sales efforts

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, comfortable working independently, hands-on, and full of ideas to improve the website and increase revenue/conversion rates.

The client is an online e-commerce retailer with a team of 14, including 9 in the UK and 5 remote in the Philippines, covering various roles from admin to sales.
