Description For Senior IT Security Architecture Engineer
Constant Contact is seeking a Senior IT Security Architecture Engineer to join their Cyber Security Architecture team. Reporting to the Director of IT Security Architecture, Design, and Testing, this role requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in a hands-on technical cyber security role. The ideal candidate will work across all Information Security Teams and other business units to identify opportunities for improving security controls, recommend solutions, and lead the design/build-out of new controls.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing technology and security projects
- Developing security architecture and guiding principles for cloud initiatives
- Staying informed about current security technology trends
- Providing security guidance and requirements to technology teams
- Preparing and presenting security solutions to senior leaders
- Implementing security technical controls
- Overseeing multiple projects to preserve architectural vision
Requirements:
- 5+ years of progressive information security experience
- Experience building security reference architecture for on-premise, cloud, and hybrid scenarios
- Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions
- Networking experience including large-scale network segmentation and Zero Trust Network Access
- Knowledge of compliance and security standards
- Strong communication skills

Responsibilities For Senior IT Security Architecture Engineer
- Review technology and security projects, making recommendations for product selection, configuration and design
- Develop security architecture and guiding principles for cloud initiatives
- Stay informed about current security technology solution trends and approaches
- Understand current enterprise technology architecture and business processes
- Provide security guidance and requirements to technology teams
- Prepare, evaluate, and present security solutions to senior leaders
- Recommend, coordinate and implement security technical controls
- Oversee multiple projects to preserve architectural vision and protect stakeholder interests
- Develop strategic designs/solutions and think critically across the application portfolio
Requirements For Senior IT Security Architecture Engineer
- 5+ years of progressive information security experience
- Experience building security reference architecture for on-premise, cloud, and hybrid scenarios
- Experience with implementation of enterprise security solutions (EDR/HIPS, Firewall, WAF, IPS, Vuln Management, Anti-DDOS, SIEM)
- Networking experience including large scale network segmentation, attack surface management, Zero Trust Network Access, and Software Defined Networking
- Knowledge of compliance and security standards
- Ability to work on global teams across time zones, cultures and languages
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
