Senior Machine Learning Engineer (f/m/d)

Contentful is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their AI revolution. You'll be part of a team building real-world AI solutions for thousands of active customers. The role involves designing, building, and measuring production software in the Contentful Platform, optimizing generative AI products, and integrating ML cloud solutions for large-scale use cases. You'll lead design reviews, drive ML education in the team, and establish high standards of quality and ownership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Measuring and ensuring high-quality output of ML workloads for enterprise customers
• Conducting focused research and testing using tools like Jupyter Notebook
• Integrating prompt engineering and fine-tuning for customer use cases
• Developing scalable software for high-load customer workloads
• Leading design reviews with peers and stakeholders

The ideal candidate should have:

• Proven experience as a technical leader in product software development
• Track record in Model Development, including LLM-based models for NLP tasks
• Ability to work backwards from customer needs to deliver ML-based features
• Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Solid understanding of machine learning principles
• Experience with container frameworks like Docker or Kubernetes
• Up-to-date knowledge on the latest LLM developments and research
