Senior Solution Engineer DACH Commercial (f/m/d)

Contentful is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer for the DACH Commercial region. As a Solution Engineer, you'll work closely with the sales team, owning key components of the sales process including infrastructural/architectural discovery, collaborative solution design, and technical validation. You'll support customers and prospects across EMEA, helping them understand Contentful's capabilities and how it compares to legacy technologies. The role involves creating product demonstrations, assisting with technical evaluations, and communicating customer needs to product management, marketing, and sales teams. You'll also collaborate with Solution Architects and Customer Success Managers to ensure successful implementation for new customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Commercial Account Executives to support EMEA customers and prospects
• Create product demonstrations and assist with technical evaluations
• Understand and validate project requirements against Contentful's platform
• Communicate customer needs and product feedback to internal teams
• Collaborate on successful customer implementations

Requirements:

• Fluency in English and German
• 3-5 years of solution engineering experience selling cloud solutions to a Marketing audience OR 3-5 years of experience in a Digital Marketing function
• Strong presentation skills and ability to convey technical knowledge to various stakeholders
• High emotional intelligence for navigating complex customer meetings
• Understanding of Digital Marketing functions, KPIs, and content strategy

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Content Management Platforms or similar MarTech
• Knowledge of solution selling methodologies and value-based selling techniques
• Understanding of MACH products and Composable architectures
