Senior Software Engineer- Data Engineering

As a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Data Engineering at Convera, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, product management, and enterprise architecture to define & evolve future state data strategy, architecture, and data roadmap.

Your responsibilities include:

• Identifying, designing, and implementing process improvements, including building/re-engineering data models, data architectures, pipelines, and data applications.
• Designing and building infrastructure for extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources.
• Reviewing tools and technologies to create data architecture supporting new data initiatives and next-gen products.
• Increasing automation and building analytic solutions at scale to serve business requirements.
• Managing and improving existing data platform capabilities to meet compliance and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA or equivalent degree with 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Experience in data pipeline architecture, ETL processes, and data storage technologies (Amazon S3, SQL, NoSQL)
• Proficiency in AWS services (Lambda, Glue, Athena) and real-time data ingestion pipeline development
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling
• Experience with Talend/Talend API integration and Airflow for orchestration
• Familiarity with Kafka and big data technologies
• Knowledge of reporting tools like Tableau
• Experience working with stakeholders in different time zones
