With over 100 inspired chefs from cities like NYC, LA, Austin, and more, our weekly subscription offers a wide range of hand-crafted meals to cater to various palates and dietary preferences.

As an Analytics Engineer at CookUnity, you'll be part of a highly dynamic and innovative Data Team that excels in solving complex business challenges and propelling the growth of the enterprise through analytical expertise. Reporting to the Lead Data Engineer, your mission will be to maximize the power of data with trusted and scalable data solutions, ensuring that data flows throughout the company and everyone has the information they need to make better decisions faster.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining data models to enable more and faster insights for strategic decision-making
  • Using tools like DBT to wrangle data and build datasets for reporting
  • Leveraging BI tooling to build, maintain, and own dashboards that empower the business
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across departments to understand their data needs
  • Developing high-impact data layers, user interfaces, and other tools for self-service analytics

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience as an Analytics Engineer, BI Engineer/Developer, Data Analyst, or Business Intelligence Analyst
  • Ability to write complex SQL, ad-hoc data pipelines, and data models, preferably in DBT
  • Deep familiarity with dimensional modeling/data warehousing concepts
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills
