As a Packaging Engineer at CookUnity, you'll be part of the Packaging Engineering Team, responsible for developing innovative packaging solutions for ready-to-eat meals. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging designs meet functional, aesthetic, cost, and regulatory requirements. Your role involves hands-on testing, analysis, and optimization of packaging materials to enhance meal protection, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the search, design, and development of packaging solutions
- Conducting performance tests to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Preparing and maintaining detailed packaging documentation
- Optimizing packaging materials for cost-effectiveness
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in packaging engineering, preferably in food packaging
- Knowledge of packaging materials and design tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Responsibilities For Packaging Engineer
- Search and develop packaging solutions for new and existing ready meal products
- Conduct packaging performance tests to ensure suitability, protection, and compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate packaging solutions
- Prepare and maintain detailed packaging die-lines, designs, specifications, and documentation
- Analyze and optimize packaging materials to reduce costs without compromising quality
- Ensure all packaging solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards for ready meals
Requirements For Packaging Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in packaging engineering or related field
- Availability to travel up to 20%
- Knowledge of packaging materials suitable for food
- Proficiency in reading and creating die-lines, using packaging design tools
- Understanding of packaging testing methods and standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
