As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll be crucial in developing and enhancing customer-facing web applications. You'll work with a team of 4-5 engineers, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to create engaging user interfaces. The role involves using technologies like ReactJS, Redux, and NextJS to implement new features, optimize performance, and ensure responsive design. You'll also contribute to design systems, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior engineers. Responsibilities For Senior Frontend Engineer
- Architect and implement new features on the CookUnity web platform using ReactJS and NextJS
- Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and user experience
- Ensure consistent and responsive design across different devices and browsers
- Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend functionality with backend APIs
- Contribute to the development of design systems and reusable components
- Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and trends
- Participate in the code review process and mentor junior engineers
- Help improve test coverage and automate frontend testing using tools like Jest and Cypress
Requirements For Senior Frontend Engineer
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on frontend development
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, Typescript, ReactJS, and Redux
- Experience with modern frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Experience with performance optimization techniques and responsive design
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and Agile development methodologies
