Sr Full Stack Engineer

CookUnity is a chef-to-you marketplace connecting talented chefs with consumers, revolutionizing meal delivery. We bring small-batch, restaurant-quality meals to eaters nationwide, crafted by a diverse collective of all-star chefs. With over 100 inspired chefs from cities like NYC, LA, Austin, and more, our weekly subscription offers a wide range of hand-crafted meals to cater to various palates and dietary preferences.

As a Sr Full Stack Engineer at CookUnity, you'll be part of a dynamic team working on developing new features and improving the platform. You'll collaborate with Product Managers and Product Designers to create impactful solutions. The role involves working with a modern tech stack including JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, Redux, Apollo GraphQL, NestJS, NextJS, and various AWS services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing platform features within our JavaScript stack
• Iterating on new and existing features to improve user experience and performance
• Contributing to strong software architecture and development best practices
• Being part of the code review process and mentoring other engineers
• Supporting the on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 business operations

We're looking for candidates with:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Strong skills in ReactJS/React Native, NodeJS, GraphQL, MySQL, and TypeScript
• Experience with service-oriented architectures and REST APIs
• Proactive approach to improving systems
• Experience with unit and e2e testing
