Senior Product Web Engineer

Copilot Money, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Web Engineer to join their team in developing a best-in-class web app. As a finalist for the 2024 Apple Design Awards and recognized as one of the best finance apps in the App Store, Copilot is expanding its successful iOS and Mac app to the web platform.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Web Lead and contribute to building an all-star Web team. This hybrid position is based in New York City, requiring at least two days per week in the Brooklyn office.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with Product and Design teams to implement new features and improve existing ones
• Maintaining and enhancing the web app's quality and performance
• Implementing unit and UI tests for new features

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in frontend Web app development
• Extensive experience with TypeScript and React
• Knowledge of React frameworks and build tools
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with asynchronous request handling
• Attention to detail and an eye for good design
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
• Based in NYC

Desired qualifications include a Bachelor's in Computer Science, knowledge of performance and scalability techniques, web accessibility standards, and experience with Progressive Web Apps, Google Cloud/Firebase/Firestore, mobile apps, and CI/CD systems.
