Responsibilities For Senior Network Security Engineer
- Oversee design and implementation of secure communications networking solutions
- Oversee cybersecurity and threat monitoring for customer deliverables
- Manage network engineers and security operations center (SOC) personnel
- Stay current with all security advisories and best practices
- Work with SOC engineers to design and implement robust SOC systems and practices
- Work with Software Development team to develop custom solutions
- Manage engineering team leads and demonstrate leadership of people and projects
- Manage development requirements, schedules and deliverables
- Engage customer end-users during development life cycle
Requirements For Senior Network Security Engineer
- Bachelor's degree or additional 5+ years' relevant experience in lieu of education
- 5+ years' relevant engineering experience including overseeing development and delivery of solutions
- Expert level understanding of architecture development, governance, and design principles
- Experience with secure communications systems (VPNs) and SOC operations
- Excellent team management and leadership skills and experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- US Citizenship is required
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearances at the TS/SCI level or above
- Experience with computer network defense and related cybersecurity practices
