Lead Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Corelight, a rapidly growing cybersecurity company, is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for their Federal region's cloud platform. This role is crucial in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the infrastructure while maintaining FedRAMP compliance. The ideal candidate will manage infrastructure and operations, focusing on availability, latency, performance optimization, monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with software engineering teams to ensure reliability and security
• Designing and implementing FedRAMP-compliant infrastructure and systems
• Establishing continuous monitoring and auditing processes
• Partnering with security teams for assessments and control implementation
• Designing scalable infrastructure solutions for multi-region growth
• Driving automation efforts with a focus on compliance
• Staying updated on best practices and evolving security threats
• Deploying and maintaining resilient cloud-native services in AWS
• Participating in 24x7 incident response and on-call rotations

The role requires strong technical skills, including:

• 8+ years of experience with FedRAMP environments
• Expertise in AWS services
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Go, or Java
• Experience with big data technologies and Infrastructure as Code tools
• Knowledge of containerization and CI/CD tools

Soft skills such as leadership, problem-solving, and communication are essential. The position demands U.S. citizenship, residence within the contiguous United States, and willingness to undergo a background investigation.
