Description For Lead Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

We transform network and cloud activity into evidence that elite defenders use to proactively hunt for threats, accelerate incident response, and gain complete network visibility. Our platform leverages Open Source projects and our own technology to deliver Intrusion Detection, Network Security Monitoring, and Smart PCAP solutions.

As the lead Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) in the Sensor group, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our network security products. You'll design, develop, and utilize test frameworks, tools, and automation while providing technical leadership to a team of 15 testing engineers. This position requires strong network security and development skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with devops, build engineers, and product developers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Architecting and implementing test automation frameworks for network security products
  • Leading system testing of Corelight appliance products, including cloud sensors
  • Defining, implementing, and analyzing metrics to determine test effectiveness and overall software quality

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $180,000 to $224,000 per year, with additional benefits including equity and potential bonuses.
