Technical Marketing Engineer

Corelight is seeking a talented, resourceful, and collaborative Technical Marketing Engineer to join their team. This role involves guiding users to understand Corelight's cybersecurity offerings through various mediums such as recordings, public speaking, authoring technical papers, blogging, and conducting webinars.

Key responsibilities include:

• Helping customers improve their cybersecurity posture
• Showcasing product features through use cases
• Creating and maintaining technical marketing collateral
• Designing and implementing technical solutions with partners
• Understanding the competitive landscape
• Assisting in upskilling internal roles
• Influencing others and being seen as a technical expert

The ideal candidate should have:

• Zeek or Bro experience
• Log analysis experience in SIEM tools
• Ability to create product demo video recordings
• 5+ years of advanced network security experience
• Scripting experience
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Passion for continuous learning and growth

Preferred qualifications include experience in:

• Working in a startup environment
• Public speaking and writing
• Building and managing cloud infrastructure
• Creating DevOps environments
• Integrations with varied platforms using APIs
• Detection engineering
• Incident response and threat hunting
• Packet analysis
• Other security products like SOAR, UEBA, and SASE
