The position requires a seasoned professional with at least 5 years of networking experience, particularly with Brocade/Extreme, Nokia, and Cisco OS. You'll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing network infrastructure, providing both regular support and participating in an on-call rotation for 24/7 coverage.
Key responsibilities include monitoring network equipment, responding to SNMP trap alarms, managing Ethernet connectivity, and working with various technologies including MPLS, VPLS, and DWDM. You'll be involved in both day-to-day operations and strategic network improvements to enhance reliability and scalability.
The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $100,000 to $115,000 annually, plus bonus and equity opportunities.
