Description For Engineer, Fleet Monitoring & Analysis

The Fleet Monitoring & Analysis Team at CoreWeave contributes to the automated provisioning and management of CoreWeave's ever-expanding fleet of hardware nodes and node types. This team plays a central role in CoreWeave's growth strategy, focusing on improving node and environmental monitoring and observability. As an Engineer in this team, you'll help build, run, and refine metrics, alerts, visualizations, and data-driven insights.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing solutions for large-scale server observability
  • Adapting and extending open-source solutions to enhance visibility into the operating environment
  • Generating custom reports, alarms, and visualizations
  • Creating test plans, deployment automation, dashboards, and alerts
  • Participating in the Fleet Engineering Developers' on-call rotation

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 2+ years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering
  • Experience in automation and orchestration workflows
  • Knowledge of server hardware, components, and related technologies
  • Experience implementing metrics collection and alerting on standard platforms
  • A strong belief in the value of automation

CoreWeave offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $160,000-$185,000, along with various benefits such as medical insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k) with employer match, flexible PTO, and more.
