The position offers a competitive salary range of $275,000-$330,000 and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities For Principal Engineer - Developer Productivity
- Lead the strategy and implementation for engineering productivity and operational excellence
- Identify and prioritize initiatives that enhance developer workflows, automation, and tools
- Design and implement frameworks for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
- Provide expertise on scalable development practices, code health, and system observability
- Conduct assessments of engineering workflows and productivity metrics
- Develop strategies for tools and practices adoption
- Evaluate and recommend tools and platforms for engineering productivity
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and product teams
- Mentor and guide engineering teams on best practices
- Develop and enforce standards, guidelines, and practices
Requirements For Principal Engineer - Developer Productivity
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering
- Proven experience leading productivity and operational excellence initiatives
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Go, Python, Rust)
- In-depth experience with CI/CD platforms and observability tools
- Strong understanding of cloud computing infrastructure using Kubernetes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
