Solution Engineer

Couchbase is seeking a Solution Engineer to support their growing user community and drive customer success. This role combines technical expertise with consultative selling and relationship building.

As a Solution Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and demonstrating complex solutions across on-premise and multi-cloud environments. You'll work directly with customers and partners, delivering workshops, tailored demos, and performance-driven Proofs of Concept (POCs). The role requires strong technical knowledge in database solutions, cloud environments, and modern development practices.

Key responsibilities include acting as a trusted technical advisor, partnering with internal teams, and contributing to the broader SE community through webinars and technical content creation. You'll work with various stakeholders, from developers to C-level executives, requiring excellent communication and presentation skills.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of experience in solutions engineering or related fields, with hands-on software development experience in languages like Java or Python. Knowledge of database systems, multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is essential.
