Solutions Engineer

Couchbase is hiring a Solutions Engineer for the Singapore and ASEAN region. As a Solutions Engineer, you will be the primary technical field expert, responsible for driving and managing the technical aspects of sales engagements. Your role involves explaining NoSQL advantages, demonstrating how Couchbase Server works, and showing how it can solve customer problems. You'll work closely with the sales team, manage customer PoCs/Pilots, deliver presentations and demonstrations, and serve as a technical product expert.

Key responsibilities include:

• Guiding customers in solving problems with Couchbase Server
• Collaborating with the sales team on account strategy
• Ensuring success of customer PoCs/Pilots
• Developing and delivering outstanding presentations and demonstrations
• Engaging with technical professionals at all levels
• Staying current on the NoSQL competitive landscape
• Collaborating with Product Management and Engineering
• Identifying and producing technical collateral

Required skills:

• Fluency in Thai
• 4+ years of pre-sales engineering experience for enterprise back-end software
• 2+ years of experience with RDBMS
• Excellent presentation skills
• Experience engaging with developers
• Passion for technical problem-solving
• Proactive customer engagement
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
