Coupa is seeking a Data Quality Engineer to join their innovative team in Pune, India. As a leading provider of AI-powered spend management solutions, Coupa processes trillions of dollars of spend data across a global network of 10M+ buyers and suppliers.
The role combines technical expertise in data quality, ML/AI, and automation with a focus on ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of Coupa's data-driven products. You'll be working at the intersection of data science and quality engineering, developing frameworks and strategies to validate complex data sets and ML models.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with 3-5 years of experience in data testing and a strong foundation in computer science or related fields. Responsibilities For Data Quality Engineer
- Ensure the quality and reliability of data used in ML/AI and Generative AI products
- Perform thorough Data Analysis: evaluating Data Quality, Test Machine Learning Models & Visualizations
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers
- Develop automation strategy for validating large data sets
- Develop test strategies, create test plans, and execute test cases
- Design, implement, and maintain data validation frameworks
- Work with Scrum team members to clarify requirements
- Analyze requirement changes impact and assess risk
- Improve automation coverage & reduce regression cycles
Requirements For Data Quality Engineer
- Experience writing complex queries on large customer data sets
- Familiarity with ML/AI and Generative AI techniques
- Understanding of statistical analysis
- Strong hands-on experience working with APIs & API automation
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working in Agile development processes
- BS in CS, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics
- 3-5 years of experience in Data Testing
- Strong scripting experience with Python, SQL
- Knowledge in Predictive Analytics and machine learning
