Description For Atlassian Migrations Architect

Cprime, a Goldman Sachs | Everstone company, is seeking an experienced Atlassian Migrations Architect to join their team. As the largest Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner, Cprime helps clients best utilize Atlassian products and tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Atlassian tools, including Jira Software, Jira Service Desk, Confluence, and BitBucket.

The role involves setting up new environments, assisting clients with configurations, performing upgrades and migrations, and working with various Atlassian applications. You'll be responsible for installations, consolidations, and migrations both to and from Atlassian Cloud. Additionally, you'll work with external authentication systems and third-party add-ons.

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, designing creative technical solutions, and providing support to client administrators and users. The position requires a deep understanding of Linux and Windows-based operating systems, experience with scripting languages, and knowledge of SDLC and Agile Frameworks.

This remote position offers the opportunity to work with diverse teams across different time zones, managing multiple clients and deliverables. Responsibilities For Atlassian Migrations Architect

  • Setting up new environments to host Atlassian applications, including Server and Data Center
  • Assisting clients with new environment setup based on best practices and recommendations
  • Installations and configurations of new Atlassian applications
  • Upgrades of existing Atlassian applications to the latest versions
  • Migrations of existing Atlassian applications from existing to new environments
  • Consolidations of multiple Atlassian applications and environments
  • Migrations from 3rd party tools into Atlassian applications
  • Migrations to/from Atlassian Cloud
  • Installations and configurations of external authentication systems
  • Installations and configurations of third party add-ons for Atlassian tools
  • Provide support to client administrators and users
  • Troubleshoot various issues and problems and design creative technical solutions

Requirements For Atlassian Migrations Architect

Linux
  • 5+ years of experience with configuration and administration of Atlassian Products
  • Hands-on experience setting up, managing, upgrading, and migrating Atlassian tools in Server and Data Center environments
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure setup for both Server and Data Center environments
  • Hands-on experience with Jira Service Management
  • Working experience consolidating multiple Atlassian environments
  • Working experience migrating Atlassian tools to/from Atlassian Cloud
  • Deep experience with Linux and Windows-based operating systems
  • Prior system administration experience
  • Experience with scripting, such as Bash, Python, or Ruby
  • Conceptual and practical knowledge of SDLC and Agile Frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work with diverse teams across different time zones
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deliverables
  • Strong executive presence, facilitation skills, drive for results, attention to quality and detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience
