As a Solutions Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in bridging technical sales and client solutions, working closely with Account Executives and delivery leaders. The position requires deep expertise in JIRA and Atlassian integrated solutions, combining technical knowledge with consultative skills.
The role offers a unique blend of technical and client-facing responsibilities, where you'll design and develop high-quality solutions, manage software integrations, and drive process engineering initiatives. You'll be instrumental in defining client business challenges and implementation needs, while also contributing to thought leadership through webinars, speaking engagements, and whitepapers.

Responsibilities For Atlassian Solutions Engineer
- Support sales activities with pre-sales consulting, scoping, solution design, and discovery sessions
- Work with Product team to define new solutions and service experiments
- Provide thought leadership including webinars, speaking engagements, whitepapers
- Assist in development and maintenance of Atlassian Delivery solutions
- Provide technical guidance during sales cycle
- Identify business pains and objectives
- Advise on best practices configuration
- Contribute to technical sales enablement
- Help with documentation of products and client value streams
- Research and follow technical trends
Requirements For Atlassian Solutions Engineer
- 5+ years of Professional Services Management and Consulting experience
- 5+ years of Atlassian software planning, design, and implementation
- Deep understanding of business and technology processes
- Advanced Systems thinking and integration and enterprise toolchain
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization skills
- Experience in process documentation, training, and change management
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile frameworks
- Ability to work independently
- Experience with 5+ core technologies
- Advanced understanding of ALM with 3+ deep domain knowledge areas
- Basic Scripting/Automation skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
- 30-40% travel required
