Responsibilities For Android Developer
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies
- Perform upgrades and maintenance
- Recommend software upgrades
- Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and systems analysts
- Design, develop and modify software systems
- Manage core features of the app including services, network, database
Requirements For Android Developer
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 2-3 years of development experience in Android App Development
- Strong knowledge of Google's Android design principles and guidelines
- Working knowledge of emerging mobile technologies
- Mobile application development experience on Android - shipping applications in the Google Play Store
- Knowledge of Android development tools (Android Studio, Gradle, UI Layout, Fragment Usage)
- Strong skills developing with Kotlin
- Comprehensive knowledge of Android platform SDKs
- Experience creating clients for REST APIs
- Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum methodologies
