Senior Backend Engineer

Creative Fabrica is a fast-scaling tech start-up from Amsterdam with a mission to enable creativity by providing access to everything related to the creative process. As a Senior Backend Engineer in the Content team, you'll play a crucial role in developing and delivering products that power Creative Fabrica's growing crafting community. You'll build a new platform to manage content lifecycle, licensing, and discoverability for over 20 million products, create advanced search and recommendation engines, and build APIs for web applications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building a new platform for content management and discoverability
• Developing and maintaining APIs for web applications
• Taking ownership of component technical designs and delivering quality code
• Contributing ideas and analyzing usage data to build products customers love

Required skills:

• Experience with high-volume, low latency Enterprise applications
• Proficiency in Java/Kotlin and JVM
• Experience with microservices and message-driven architecture
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure
• Strong understanding of software development best practices

The tech stack includes AWS, Java, Go, Kafka, Kubernetes, NextJS SSR, GRPC, and various SQL/noSQL storages.
