Data Engineer Pleno

Creditas is seeking a Mid-Level Data Engineer to join their Product Technology team. The role involves developing new data products using tools from their stack according to business needs, maintaining and supporting existing products, refining and translating business problems into data solutions, modeling data products according to best development practices, and supporting continuous improvement processes by identifying opportunities and suggesting solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop new data products using tools from our stack, according to business needs
• Maintain and support existing products
• Refine, understand, and translate business problems into data solutions
• Model data products according to best development practices
• Support continuous improvement processes, identifying opportunities and suggesting solutions

Required skills and experience:

• Knowledge of high-performance distributed systems, solving large-scale engineering challenges (Spark/Kafka)
• Experience with object-oriented programming, preferably Python and other JVM languages
• Knowledge of messaging/queuing systems and/or stream processing systems
• Experience with Python language
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, DataStudio, Data Visualization, etc.
• Experience with Airflow, Spark
• Knowledge of GitHub
• Experience with AWS S3, AWS EMR, AWS GLUE, and Redshift
• Availability to work in-person one week per month at the São Paulo headquarters
