Responsibilities For Staff Autonomy Evaluation Engineer
- Define success criteria from ambiguous problem statements
- Drive evaluation strategies and roadmaps for safety, roadcraft and compliance metrics
- Ensure comprehensive validation of AV performance
- Streamline testing and road monitoring process
- Mentor fellow Data Scientists
- Build high quality data miners and metrics
- Analyze AV performance data
- Develop new methodologies for metrics improvement
- Test and deploy methods in simulation environment
- Collaborate with various teams to build tools and dashboards
- Convert insights into actionable recommendations
Requirements For Staff Autonomy Evaluation Engineer
- Masters or PhD degree or equivalent experience in Robotics, Transportation, Physics, Aerospace Engineering
- 5+ years post-academic experience in evaluating large models, data science, or machine learning
- Strong software engineering foundation
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience in designing, training, and analyzing machine learning models
- Solid statistical foundations
