Description For Senior/Staff Solutions Engineer, Cloud

Crusoe Energy is seeking a Senior/Staff Solutions Engineer for their Cloud GTM team. This role involves working closely with key customers to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions on Crusoe Cloud. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in cloud-based applications or infrastructures, with a deep understanding of ML, HPC, or graphics applications in cloud environments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging directly with customers for technical advocacy
  • Helping customers scope and scale from PoC to deployment
  • Leading customer-facing demonstrations and events
  • Championing customer needs to guide product roadmap
  • Collaborating on content development for customer support
  • Developing sales plays and demand generation programs

Responsibilities For Senior/Staff Solutions Engineer, Cloud

  • Engage directly with customers to provide them with technical advocacy as they build their products in the cloud
  • Help customers scope out their initial PoC and evaluation of Crusoe Cloud and help them scale their workloads from PoC to deployment
  • Lead customer facing demonstrations, discussions, and events to support product education and evangelism
  • Champion the needs of our customers, and represent their requirements to the product and engineering teams to help guide our product roadmap
  • Collaborate with other teams at Crusoe to develop content that will help customers develop and deploy their applications on Crusoe Cloud
  • Develop and launch sales plays and demand generation programs to target the long tail of customers

Requirements For Senior/Staff Solutions Engineer, Cloud

Kubernetes
  • Technical degree (computer science, math, or engineering) or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience architecting, building, or operating cloud-based applications or infrastructures
  • Deep understanding and experience building machine learning (ML), high performance computing (HPC), or graphics applications in cloud environments
  • Experience building with modern infrastructure tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Cloud Formation, Terraform
  • Professional cloud certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP Solutions Architect) preferred
  • Must be able to pass a background check
