As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be responsible for interpreting and translating engineering design documentation into manufacturing processes. The role combines technical expertise with administrative precision, requiring strong communication skills and attention to detail. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Production, Procurement, and CNC Programmers.

Key aspects of the role include managing engineering documentation, developing manufacturing processes, driving production efficiency, and ensuring smooth communication between different departments. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $73,500 to $105,000, plus equity through Restricted Stock Units.

Responsibilities For Manufacturing Engineer

  • Interpret mechanical and electrical engineering design documentation
  • Translate design engineering documentation into production specific information
  • Communicate deliverables to purchasing production, inventory, and project management
  • Support engineering team and procurement group with supplier and vendor collaboration
  • Enter planning deliverables into ERP software
  • Generate and maintain Manufacturing Processes and Work Instructions
  • Identify needs for gauging and special equipment/tooling
  • Drive First Pass Yield and Overall Process Effectiveness improvement
  • Provide support in resolving manufacturing issues
  • Work with cross-functional teams

Requirements For Manufacturing Engineer

  • Minimum of an Associate's degree in engineering or related field
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Experience reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and/or electrical schematics
  • Experience reading and interpreting Engineering Bills of Materials
  • Familiarity with ERP software
  • Familiarity with typical productivity software
  • Willingness to work in fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Drug and alcohol program participation required
