Responsibilities For Network Automation Engineer
- Conceptualize, build, and maintain automation and tools to support New Product Introductions
- Develop and implement operational process improvements in scalable, automated workflows
- Lead enhancements of automation for continuous integration and testing infrastructure
- Perform deep dives on complex technical issues across networks
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions/tools
- Manage tooling for network provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Improve access to network telemetry data
- Collaborate with Network Engineering teams
- Maintain comprehensive documentation
- Provide mentorship and training to team members
Requirements For Network Automation Engineer
- 15+ years of network automation experience in large-scale environment
- Experience with network device configurations (Arista, Juniper, Cisco, etc.)
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Go, C++, or Java)
- Knowledge of TCP, IPv4/6, Routing Protocols
- Experience with software and network debugging
- Experience developing automation tools for network operations
- Experience with distributed systems at scale
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, QoS, BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, EVPN, VXLAN)
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
