Responsibilities For Senior Security Operations Engineer
- Develop and execute comprehensive security operations strategy
- Design, implement, and fine-tune advanced detection mechanisms
- Perform forensics and lead response efforts during security incidents
- Drive detection and automation initiatives
- Manage security event monitoring and response workflows
- Author comprehensive runbooks and automation scripts
- Create and manage automated playbooks
- Develop standard operating procedures and documentation
- Support security compliance, audit, and certification programs
Requirements For Senior Security Operations Engineer
- Minimum of 6 years in cybersecurity with focus on detection and response
- Technical proficiency with on-premise computing environments and cloud computing
- Strong expertise in incident handling and forensic investigation
- Experience in programming (Python, Go, C, C++) or SOAR platforms
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Cloud Formation, Terraform
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments
- Strong knowledge of cyber threat landscape
