Responsibilities For Virtualization Staff Engineer
- Lead the design and implementation of virtualization technologies for AI and HPC workloads in cloud environments
- Make architectural decisions on virtualization layers and hardware-software integration
- Work closely with product management, infrastructure, AI/ML, and hardware teams
- Engage with customer success and operations teams
- Take full ownership of key technical initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of engineers
- Provide feedback through code reviews, design reviews, and one-on-one mentoring
Requirements For Virtualization Staff Engineer
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role
- 3+ years of experience designing and optimizing virtualization architectures for GPUs, accelerators, and high-performance networks
- Deep expertise in virtualization technologies and cloud platforms
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures, virtualization, and bare-metal performance
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Go, or Rust
- Proven ability to lead teams, mentor engineers, and influence technical decisions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with CUDA or other GPU programming frameworks
