Backend Production Support Engineer - Night Shift

We are seeking a Backend Production Support Engineer for the night shift to join our team at Crypto.com. This role is part of a team that designs, develops, maintains, and improves software for various venture projects adjacent to our core businesses.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing operation support during trading hours and handling daily operation procedures
• Proactively monitoring application status and resolving issues
• Developing tools for operations and improving system observability
• Automating and streamlining operations and processes
• Collaborating with teammates and escalating to subject matter experts as necessary
• Building strong relationships with different operation groups
• Communicating effectively with developers and internal stakeholders
• Working with the SRE team to improve observability
• Documenting operation procedures and creating a knowledge base
• Coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders for proper installation, configuration, and testing of application services
• Managing changes, evaluating risks, and developing backup plans

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, particularly with AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Solid experience in Linux environments and relevant support tools
• Experience with shell scripting, Ruby, and SQL technologies
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging systems (e.g., Datadog, Sumologic, OpenTelemetry)
• Exchange platform domain knowledge
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with strong ownership of work
• Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin (Cantonese is a plus)
• Willingness to work flexible hours to cover US trading sessions
