Senior Data Engineer - Trading Analytics

The Quant Trading team at Crypto.com is responsible for trading and managing risks associated with different crypto products, including spots and derivatives. They are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in ClickHouse and AWS infrastructure to join their dynamic Trading Analytics team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable ClickHouse infrastructure for large datasets
• Develop robust, scalable ETL pipelines using Python
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure proper AWS setup
• Build and maintain data orchestration workflows using Airflow and integrate Kafka
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business needs
• Optimize performance and scalability of data pipelines
• Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with ClickHouse
• Proficiency in Python for ETL pipelines
• Deep understanding of AWS infrastructure
• Experience with Airflow and Kafka
• Exposure to trading, crypto, or middle office systems is a plus
• Experience or knowledge in machine learning and AI is a bonus

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in financial services, particularly in trading or crypto environments
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders
• Familiarity with database optimization and query performance tuning
