Responsibilities For Field Engineer - Solar Construction
- Assist in managing field operations and ensuring engineering processes are followed
- Generate and manage project submittals, shop drawings, RFIs and material certifications
- Perform inspections on received materials including material reports
- Assist with daily finance functions such as Penta, OnBase, Change Orders and Project Buyout
- Maintain daily updates through project tracker
- Collect and input quantity tracking for self-perform and subcontractor work
- Collect and distribute meeting minutes for external communication
- Assist Project Superintendent with new hire paperwork and field inspections
- Perform and document EHS and QAQC inspections
Requirements For Field Engineer - Solar Construction
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Renewable Engineering, Engineering or related fields
- Working Knowledge of MS Office Suite with strong proficiency in Word and Excel
- Previous internship in solar and/or construction management highly desired
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and people skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel and/or temporarily relocate to project sites every 3-12 months
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
