Responsibilities For Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer
- Demonstrate innovative security approaches in Cloud Native operating environments
- Respond to queries and champion security in key forums, assessments and auditing
- Support and maintain audit activities and records
- Implement and maintain appropriate security controls
- Contribute to development of policies, processes, and standards
- Design and implement solutions from ideation to completion
- Build tooling, services and solutions for secure feature and infrastructure delivery
- Maintain documentation on security tools and services
Requirements For Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer
- Extensive experience with VS Code, Git, AWS CLI, and TypeScript/Python
- Knowledge of software development philosophies (TDD, BDD, 12-Factor Apps)
- Experience with security systems (CSPM, DLP, EDR, IDS/IPS, SIEM)
- Strong AWS knowledge especially in Compute, Storage, Networking, IAM, and Security
- Infrastructure as Code experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to respond to security events outside normal hours
- Formal education or equivalent experience
- Industry recognized infrastructure or security qualifications preferred
