Responsibilities For Senior Python Application Developer - Professional Services
- Develop algorithms to solve complex problems on D-Wave quantum computer and internal tools
- Implement and optimize quantum applications using Python and optimization tools
- Build open-source applications for customers or market release
- Ensure successful delivery of projects for customer business value
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and design solutions
- Become an expert on professional services offerings including cloud service and open-source tools

Requirements For Senior Python Application Developer - Professional Services
- 5+ years professional experience with Python
- Masters, PhD, or equivalent in Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related field
- Experience working directly with customers
- Strong knowledge of probability, statistics and math
- Experience with version control software like Git
- Experience implementing complex algorithms
- Experience using optimization tools (CPlex or Gurobi)
- Experience building open-source applications
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
